#1 – Brand New Eyes – Paramore, 2009
Go -To Song: The Only Exception
It moves me in ways you can’t imagine… And The Only Exception is hands down my favourite song ever. The lyrics are crafted beautifully and it almost always nearly makes me cry, so I would take it as a good thing! The reason it’s number one on my list is because it my favourite songs, probably ever, on it. It also is the first album I properly got on vinyl so… well, please listen to it!
#2 – Santi – The Academy Is… , 2007
Go-To Song: Everything We Had or Sleeping With Giants (Lifetime)
Time for an underrated masterpiece from an underrated band. I know, if you are friends with me, I will go on about both this band and this album. It’s a relatively new addition to my music library, but I can’t believe I didn’t listen to it until it was recommended by a new friend. (Hi Twiss!) It has some epic songs on, with a voice carrying the tunes that you can’t forget in a hurry, especially if you know of The Feeling…
